My wife DVR-ed an episode of Miami Vice. Sometimes people do weird things.
Anyway, the heroin-addicted doctor came on screen and I thought she looked familiar. Sure enough:
“Helena Bonham Carter is an English actress who appeared as Dr. Theresa Lyons, a drug-addicted ER physician who falls in love with James “Sonny” Crockett in the episodes “Duty and Honor” and “Theresa” of the series Miami Vice.”
Every time she shot up I expected Danny Elfman to cue the syringe trumpets.
