I once walked to Temaiku after sundown. It was low tide, as shown in the picture, so land mass had doubled, enabling us to walk from one island to another. The moon was so bright that we had night shadows.
We arrived at our destination and drank warm liters of Australian whiskey from plastic bottles. Twenty of us skinny dipped on our own private island until sunrise.
Probably one of the best drunks I’ve ever had.
